Maeve McEwen graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in April 2016 with a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Movement Science. Maeve has also studied at the Merce Cunningham NYC “Inventions” Workshop, Paul Taylor Dance Intensive, Bodiography Contemporary Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Walnut Hill, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Chautauqua Dance, and has performed works by George Balanchine, Marius Petipa, Peter Sparling, Wanjiru Kamuyu, Alexandra Beller, and Richard Alston. In June 2015, Maeve was invited by Richard Alston to perform the duet from “Brisk Singing” with the Richard Alston Dance Company in London, England for the company’s 20th Anniversary At Home Series.
Maeve also danced professionally with Nimbus Dance Works for the 2016-2017 season. Maeve is currently a fitness instructor in New York City, and works as a Model/Actress with MSA Models, Bicoastal Management, and MMG Models.
Maeve has worked for clients such as: Fanta, BMW/Reach Now, European Wax Center, Maybelline, Reebok, New York Magazine, Merck, Sprezza Box, Avex Beauty Method, BedGear, Dr. Jart, Samsung, Hubble Contacts, Thursdays Boot Company, Busted Tees, LG Phones, among many more.
